Ingredients
10ozSpinachFrozen or Fresh Wilted
1cupParmesan Cheese
1 1/2cupsAlmond Flour
1tbspGarlic Powder
1tspSalt
1/2tspPepper
1 tbspItalian Seasoning
4Eggs
1/2cupButter
Instructions
Firstly, add all the dry ingredients (Parmesan Cheese, Almond Flour, Garlic Powder, Salt and Pepper, and Italian Seasoning) into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly.
Then, thaw the spinach using the microwave or stove. It doesn’t need to be cooked just thawed.
When it is not too hot to the touch, squeeze the water out the spinach by making it into a ball. You can also use paper towels to soak up some of the water.
Spinach is very wet and will make the spinach balls soggy rather than crispy.
Add the spinach into the dry ingredients.
Next, melt the butter and add to the mix.
Crack the eggs in a separate bowl and whisk them together. Then, add to the mixing bowl.
Then, mix everything together so that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
Air Fryer Instructions
Pre-heat the air fryer by letting it run for 2 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Then, add the 1 inch ball into the bottom of the air fryer so that are not touching each other. Only make one layer of the balls. Don't pile them up.
Cook for 9 minutes at 400 degrees F.
Oven Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
On a silicone mat or foil lined cookie sheet, make 1 inch balls.
Add the spinach balls to the cookies sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
