This Keto Fudge recipe is super chocolatey and delicious! It hits the spot when you are craving something sweet on the Keto Diet.
This low carb fudge recipe makes me so happy during the day when I need something chocolatey to hit the sweet spot. It is almost a fat bomb, but the consistency and flavor is spot on for fudge.
If you are like me, I love dairy free options on my low diet plan. My body strongly dislikes dairy. Because of that, I always do my best to make two version of everything. One dairy free for me and the other full of dairy to make my husband happy.
For years, I dealt with dairy related acne and stomach issues. Then, I did an elimination diet and realized that dairy was the culprit.
Whether you are doing dairy free Keto or not, we have two versions of the Keto Fudge. The first one is dairy free with coconut milk and the other has heavy cream. You can make this low carb fudge either with or without dairy – it is up to you!

Lily’s Dark Chocolate Baking Chips
For the dairy free version of this recipe, the best choice for chocolate chips are these Lily’s Dark Chocolate Baking Chips.
The Lily Chocolate Chips are sweetened with Stevia. It is a zero calorie botanical sweetener derived from the plant Stevia Rebaudiana.
The Stevia gives Lily’s natural a richness and less sugar than typical chocolates. Lily is Fair Trade, Gluten-Free and Non-GMO.
Keto Fudge Ingredients
- 9 oz Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
For the dairy version of this fudge recipe, we used the Lily’s Semi-Sweet Style Baking Chips. These are a little sweeter since they have milk in them. They are still sweetened with Stevia so they are still low carb friendly.
Heavy Whipping Cream
Don’t be tempted to use milk in this recipe. Milk actually has sugar and carbs in it. Heavy whipping cream is a much better choice if you are on low carb diet like Keto.
A lot of fudge recipes call for canned condensed milk, but that is also a mistake if you are looking for low carb fudge.
Tools & Supplies
- Parchment Paper or Tin Foil
- Small Brownie Pan like a Square 8 x 8 inch or 8 x 4 inch pyrex dish
More Ingredient Ideas
If you want to make the keto chocolate fudge sweeter, you can add powdered sweetener like monk fruit or stevia to the mixture.
You can also make peanut butter fudge by adding 2 tbsp of peanut butter to the mixture.
We chose to use walnuts to make this fudge, but you can also other Keto friendly nuts like almonds, sunflower seeds (shelled), Brazil nuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, peanuts, pine nuts, or hazelnuts.
Some nuts like cashews should be really avoided on the keto diet because they are extremely high in carbs.
All nuts and desserts, even Keto desserts, should be eaten in moderation on Keto diet.

Oh my goodness! What a way to curb the chocolate cravings!
I need to try this. The last keto fudge I tried wasn’t very nice tasting, so I’m definitely looking to find one that’s more pleasant.
This is the best Keto fudge I have eaten.
