How to Make Cauliflower Rice?
Cauliflower is nothing short of an amazingly food perfect for so many diets including Keto and Low Carb diet.
We love to make our own cauliflower rice or buy it in bags already frozen to make recipes like this Keto Cauliflower rice.
Today, I’m super excited to share how to make your own cauliflower rice. It’s surprising similar in texture to the carb filled confection – rice!
All you need to do is to make your own cauliflower rice is a head of cauliflower, knife, cutting board, and a food processor.
Cut the leaves off the cauliflower head.
Then, cut the head into quarters.
Wash and dry the cauliflower.
Break the cauliflower into floret pieces that will fit in the food processor using your hands.
Then, fill the food processor 3/4 of the way full with the cauliflower.
You will probably have to process in 2 or more batches depending on the size of your food processor.
Pulse until the cauliflower is broken up into rice size pieces, but not broken up so much it’s made into dust.
If there are some piece that did not breake up into rice, pull them out and reserve for the next batch.
Cauliflower rice can be served uncooked or cooked like in this low carb cauliflower rice recipe.
Can you freeze cauliflower rice?
Yes, you can freeze cauliflower rice in an airtight container.
