This yummy low carb Keto Sesame Chicken is a great keto dinner or lunch for Keto dieters that miss Chinese Food.
We are always craving Chinese takeout, but instead of ordering we like to make it at home. There are so many additives and lots of sugar in Chinese takeout foods that make them a no-no on the Keto diet.

Chicken Wings – My favorite place to get wing is whole foods. Here is another Keto recipe featuring these yummy wings.
Seasoning – Salt and Pepper are simple, but flavorful choice for seasoning your wings in the pressure cooker. If you are looking for fun spices, The Spice House my favorite place to get spices!
Sesame Seeds – Garnish with sesame seed for authentic dish.
Soy Sauce – Did you know that soy sauce is fine on the Keto Diet? I know a lot of recipes like to use Coconut Aminos, but you can use soy sauce. Also, there are soy sauces without gluten if you are trying to make this recipe gluten free.
Sesame Oil – The sesame oil mixed with the soy sauce really give this recipe the authentic flavor.
Pyure Honey – Pyure Harmless Hunny has a honey flavor and consistency as real honey with far fewer calories and carbohydrates. It is high in fiber, plant-based and gluten-free
Butter – You cannot beat the creaminess that butter provides. If you are looking to make this recipe dairy free, you can use ghee or a little avocado oil.
Ginger – I like to use fresh grated ginger for this recipe. You can peel it with a spoon and grate it with a microplane.
Garlic – For this recipe, I used garlic powder, but if you want to use fresh garlic, it is best to grate it along with ginger.
Thickener – If you want to thicken the sauce, you can use baking soda or xanthan gum.

How to Make Low Carb Sesame Sauce?
Start by heating the soy sauce, sesame oil, Pyure honey, butter, ginger, and garlic powder in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Stir frequently until butter is melted and the mixture is thoroughly combined.
Remove from heat and set aside.
How to Coat Chicken?
When cook time on Instant Pot is complete and the chicken is cooked, allow pressure to naturally release for 10 minutes.
Then, do a quick release of the pressure valve releasing the remainder of the steam.
Remove lid and transfer wings to a large bowl. Set aside and cool slightly.
While the chicken cools a bit, position top oven rack in the top position and pre-heat broiler.
Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire cooling rack on top. Set aside.
Pour 1/3 of the sesame garlic sauce on top of the wings and toss to coat.
Transfer the wings to the wire rack on the prepared baking sheet and place under the broiler for 3 minutes or until the wings start to get crispy.
Turn the wings and repeat on the remaining side.
Remove from oven and pour the sauce (another 1/3 of it) over the wings.
Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and serve immediately with the remaining sauce on the side.

How to Make Low Carb Sesame Chicken with Chicken Breast or Thighs?
To make low carb sesame chicken with chicken breasts or chicken thighs, you will only need a pan on the stove top. Here are the instructions.
Start by cutting up the chicken breasts or chicken thighs into bite sized chunks about one inch in size. I like to use kitchen shears to cut chicken. These work great.
Then, in a small bowl add the chicken and season it with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Make the sauce as described in the recipe card below.
Use 1/3 of the sauce to marinade the chicken for 10 minutes or so. Toss to coat.
Then, add oil or butter a wok or large pan.
Sear the chicken until brown then transfer to a plate.
If you want to stir fry some vegetables as part of this dish, you can cook them in the sauce. Broccoli, green peppers, and green onions go great with this dish and are Keto friendly.
Stir in the remainder of the sauce.
Add the cooked chicken back to the pan until cooked through.
Finally, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Serve hot over cauliflower rice.
